Jesse Bausch is a member of the Government Group. Jesse focuses his practice on public finance with an emphasis in the areas of traditional municipal bond issuance, securities law, and state and local government law.  He is based in our Richmond office.

During Jesse's career he has represented issuers in financing a wide range of projects including, water and wastewater facilities, schools, court facilities, parking facilities and public buildings.  He has served as bond counsel to Virginia Resources Authority in connection with its pooled infrastructure financings and as underwriter's counsel on financings for various state-wide highway projects, including federal highway reimbursement financings. In addition he has worked as bond counsel and developer counsel on community development authority financings to provide public infrastructure supporting retail, commercial and residential development and multifamily housing transactions to provide financing for low-income housing developments.

Mr. Bausch is a graduate of George Mason University School of Law and the University of Pennsylvania.

In his spare time, Jesse is also an award-winning comic book writer and screenwriter.  He is a 2009 winner of the Virginia Governor's Screenwriting Competition and his critically acclaimed comic book Strange Detective Tales has been optioned for development into a possible animated series or feature film.
