Hall Carter is a member of the firm's Business group and focuses his practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, taxation, and corporate law. 

Hall enjoys meeting with clients to develop estate plans that accomplish each individual's tax and non-tax goals and objectives.  He routinely assists clients in the following areas:

  • Wills
  • Revocable living trusts
  • Irrevocable trusts
  • Powers of attorney
  • Advance medical directives
  • Medicaid eligibility
  • Business succession planning
  • Transfer tax reduction

He has spoken on the topics of Revocable Living Trusts and Trusts Used for Tax Reduction at the National Business Institute's CLE course, Trusts 101.  Hall received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and he received his undergraduate degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia.
