Chris is a member of the Business group and the Business and Professional Litigation group.  He focuses his law practice on business formation and operations, creditors' rights, and civil litigation.  He works in our Richmond office.

Chris has represented diverse institutional clients, including companies of various sizes, commercial real estate developers, and retail businesses.  He litigates cases in Virginia's state and federal courts, appearing before circuit courts throughout the Commonwealth, the Supreme Court of Virginia, and the Eastern District of Virginia.  He also has experience handling a variety of transactional and intellectual property matters for his clients.

Chris served as Articles Editor for the University of Richmond Law Review, as well as National Chairperson for the Robert R. Merhige, Jr. National Environmental Negotiation Competition and Executive Board Member for the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board.  Chris also studied international law at Cambridge University in England.  He was recognized in Virginia Business magazine's "Legal Elite" in Intellectual Property in 2013.

Chris is originally from Hampton Roads and now lives with his wife in Richmond's Fan District.
