David Hearn is a member of the Risk Management practice group. His practice focuses on defending private companies, Virginia insurers and their clients in general liability, commercial transportation, products liability and insurance coverage cases in both state and federal courts. David has successfully managed complex litigation with significant potential exposure, having served as lead counsel in numerous jury trials. His more recent experiences include:
- Obtaining summary judgment for an industrial equipment supplier in a federal wrongful death action.
- Achieving a defense verdict in favor of a commercial
trucking company in a federal personal injury lawsuit.
- Obtaining summary judgment for a national fire truck manufacturer in a Virginia product liability action.
- Securing a dismissal for a national brake manufacturer in a Virginia product liability action.
David regularly represents clients in litigated matters, and frequently writes and speaks on legal and liability issues.
