George O. Peterson - Counsel
 

George Peterson is a member of the Business & Professional Litigation practice group.  His practice focuses on business litigation, trusts and estates litigation, and professional malpractice defense.  He is based on our D. C. Regional office located in McLean.

Mr. Peterson has represented a wide array of individuals and entities throughout Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland. He represents professionals including attorneys, physicians, dentists, and engineers.  In addition, George represents institutional clients such as hospitals, clinical laboratories and nursing homes.

George additionally has been the lead litigation attorney on trusts and estates matters and commercial litigation matters including partnership disputes, promissory notes, various business torts, fraud based causes of action and Uniform Commercial Code litigation.

In December 2007, Washingtonian magazine identified George as one of the "defense lawyers Washington's plaintiff lawyers privately say they least like to see" opposing them on a case.
