Joel McCray is a member of the Healthcare practice group and focuses his practice primarily in the area of medical professional liability in state and federal courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  He has represented long-term care facilities, hospitals, nurses, dentists and physicians in a variety of specialties.

Joel has tried jury cases in Circuit Courts, participated in numerous arbitrations and mediations, and presented cases to medical malpractice review panels.  He has advised health care providers on risk management issues and has lectured extensively on matters relating to medical malpractice claims.  He has also represented healthcare providers before state regulatory boards.

Joel is a past Chairman of the Medical Malpractice Section of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.  He is a veteran of the United States Navy.
