Jack Catlett has over 20 years of legal experience in personal and business planning and litigation.

As a member of the firm's Estate & Tax Planning practice group, Jack works with individuals and businesses across Virginia to help them protect and preserve their estates.  He advises clients of the gift, estate and income tax consequences of their dispositive arrangements and the methods available to efficiently transfer assets to beneficiaries and reduce potential estate or gift taxes including:

• Techniques for leveraging the Unified Credit Equivalency

Jack also handles the probate of wills, chancery litigation, and estate administration.

• Entity choice and formation
• Business succession planning

Jack is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Richmond and is a past chairman of the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce's Richmond Business Council. In 2007, Jack was listed among the Virginia Business Legal Elite for the Estates practice.
