Kelly LaPar is a member of the Business & Professional Litigation practice group and of the Construction Litigation team. She focuses her practice on construction contracts, construction defects claims and construction defect products liability claims. She works in the firm's Richmond office.

Kelly's litigation experience includes:

• Successful representation of subcontractor client in $25 million-dollar construction defect litigation involving multi-family residential development
• Successful representation of framing subcontractor client in arbitration proceedings
• Author of persuasive Motion for Summary Judgment in multi-million dollar product liability claim involving complex tile underlayment system

She has also represented clients in complex litigation in the areas of equine tort liability, insurance bad faith and personal injury claims. She developed a new Equine Law division when she worked in a firm in Denver, Colorado. She is an avid horsewoman and equestrian competitor.
