Kelly B. LaPar is a member of the Business & Professional Litigation team, Construction Litigation industry practice group, and the Equine Law industry practice group.  She works in the firm's Richmond office.   

Kelly's business and construction practice focuses on business related litigation, bond claims, collection litigation, contract review and negotiation, construction defect litigation, construction related product liability claims, performance disputes, and breach of contract claims.

Examples of Kelly's work include:

• Successful representation of subcontractor client in $25 million-dollar construction defect litigation involving multi-family residential development.
• Facilitated the collection of over $700 thousand-dollars in payment bond claim on a public project.
• Author of persuasive Motion for Summary Judgment in multi-million dollar product liability claim involving complex tile underlayment system.

In addition to her business and construction litigation practice, Kelly also established the Equine Law industry practice group.  Kelly practiced Equine Law in the State of Colorado, and she now serves the equine community in the greater Richmond area.  Her Equine Law practice provides comprehensive representation for all equine related needs. 

Kelly serves as a volunteer for a therapeutic horseback riding non-profit organization for children and adults with disabilities.  She is also an avid horsewoman competing with her horse on a regional and national level.
