As a registered nurse, Margaret brings a unique perspective to the representation of health care providers. She has successfully defended a wide variety of providers in medical malpractice actions. Margaret also regularly represents health care professionals before the Virginia Department of Health Professions licensing boards. As a member of the Business and Professional Litigation Group, Margaret defends attorneys and other professionals in malpractice actions, represents surety companies in claims against fiduciary bonds, and defends the interests of businesses in contract and tort actions. As a member of the Local Government Practice Group, Margaret serves as special commissioner and handles delinquent real estate tax collection for several jurisdictions. In her spare time, Margaret enjoys riding motorcycles, reading, and spinning wool that she uses for weaving and knitting.
