Fax: (804) 783-7291 Margaret Hardy is a shareholder of the firm and a member of the firm's Healthcare Practice and Business and Professional Litigation Groups. As a registered nurse, Margaret brings a unique perspective to the representation of health care providers. She has successfully defended a wide variety of providers in medical malpractice actions. Margaret also regularly represents health care professionals before the Virginia Department of Health Professions licensing boards and provides advice to providers on issues related to reimbursement, credentialing, HIPAA and regulatory compliance, and risk management. As a member of the Business and Professional Litigation Group, Margaret defends attorneys and other professionals in malpractice actions, represents surety companies in claims against fiduciary bonds, and defends the interests of businesses in contract and tort actions. In her spare time, Margaret enjoys riding motorcycles, reading, and spinning wool that she uses for weaving and knitting.
