Mike Goff is a member of the Workers' Compensation practice group and exclusively practices workers' compensation defense out of the firm's office in Blacksburg, Virginia. 

Mike has many years of experience defending carriers and employers on all types of workers' compensation matters, including:

• Injuries by accident
• Occupational diseases
• Total, partial, and permanent disability
• Medical treatment and expense
• Average weekly wage
• Willful misconduct
• Medicare set aside allocation and approval
• Appeals

Mike has successfully defended claims at all levels of the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission. He has extensive experience with many physicians, including specialists, throughout southwest and central Virginia and can provide recommendations for evaluations or panels. Mike Goff believes in providing the best service possible to his clients and will assist them on all possible matters. He is glad to assist employers or carriers with in-house seminars or file reviews, if requested.

Prior to joining Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, Mike served as managing editor of the Indiana Law Journal.
