Bill Gray Elected Shareholder

William A. Gray, a business and creditors' rights lawyer in our Business group, has been elected as a shareholder effective the first of the year, firm President M. Pierce Rucker announced today.

"Bill's significant experience with financial institutions, the complex problems they confront and creditors rights matters, particularly bankruptcies, has been a great asset to our clients over his decade with the firm, and it is as pleasure to welcome him to our group of owners," said Rucker.

Gray focuses his practice in bankruptcy, creditors' rights, and commercial litigation. With over 20 years of experience, he has represented a wide range of clients in bankruptcy and other insolvency matters, including banks and other secured lenders, trade vendors, landlords, employees, and local governments.

Gray is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), and the current Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee of the Richmond Bar Association, Bankruptcy Section.  He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America 2011 Edition and in Virginia Business magazine's Virginia's Legal Elite in Bankruptcy/Creditors' Rights. He earned his BA degree in Political Science from Virginia Tech and his JD degree from Western State University College of Law.
