The firm of Sands Anderson PC and its local government attorneys Phyllis C. Katz and Robert E. Dawson were appointed by the Brunswick County Board of Supervisors to provide legal services as County Attorney, Local Government Chair Daniel M. Siegel reported today."We are pleased that the Board of Supervisors and the County Administrator found that the skills of our attorneys, and the financial arrangement we proposed, met the current legal needs and we very much look forward to working with Brunswick County," he said.
Katz has been a local government and employment lawyer for 30 years, and a shareholder of the firm for a decade. Dawson, former City Attorney for Petersburg and a municipal bond and corporate lawyer for over 12 years, joined the firm in 2009.
