(September 9, 2005)... N. Reid Broughton, an attorney in the Radford office of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, P.C., has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Radford Chamber of Commerce, firm president C. Thomas Ebel announced today.
Broughton has been active in the past with local economic development groups, serving over the years as chair of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and vice-chair of the Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce. He received his J.D. from the Washington and Lee University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
Broughton also is currently serving on the Judicial Nominating Committee of the Montgomery County Bar Association. His law practice is focused on business and corporate matters, plus litigation such as medical malpractice defense, employment litigation, and commercial and contract litigation.
