Virginia Retail Merchants Association Elects New Board of Directors Member

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (Aug 15, 2002)... Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, P.C., one of Virginia's largest law firms, congratulates William T. "Bill" Lehner for his election to the Board of Directors of the Virginia Retail Merchants Association. The VRMA represents the interests of retailers and other businesses before the Virginia General Assembly and regulatory agencies. Special emphasis is directed towards education and fostering understanding of retailing, free trade, and free enterprise systems.

Lehner is an attorney at Sands Anderson and is a member of the Business, Finance and Real Estate Practice Group. He is also a Director and Immediate Past Chair of the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers and serves as their General Counsel. Lehner received his undergraduate and law degree from the College of William & Mary.
