RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (July 3, 2001)... Douglas P. Rucker, Jr. has been elected to The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, an organization limited to one third of one percent of all practicing lawyers.
The American Bar Foundation is an organization of members of the legal profession who encourage and support research programs on law and legal institutions and the legal processes in society. The Fellows are lawyers whose colleagues find them to have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the objectives of the American Bar Foundation.
Rucker, a former President of the Virginia Bar Association, serves as one of our three managing directors, and practices with our Business and Professional Litigation Team. He concentrates on business litigation cases and the defense of professionals in malpractice cases.
