Pemberton Leads Local Big Brothers Big Sisters Board

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA--Jayne A. Pemberton, a lawyer in the Risk Management practice at Sands Anderson PC, and a long-time volunteer leader and mentor with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization of Greater Richmond & the Tri-Cities has been made President of their Board of Directors, Risk Management chair Terrence L. Graves announced this week.
"One of our cultural values as a firm is service to our community and Jayne is a stellar example of a lawyer who is putting in the time it takes to help both individuals and organizations improve and succeed," said Graves.
In 2007, Pemberton was awarded the Big Sister of the Year recognition for her volunteer service with Big Brothers Big Sisters in Central Virginia. Pemberton concentrates her law practice on the defense of companies and individuals in insurance litigation, and on insurance coverage issues.
