J. Jonathan Schraub Named Best Lawyers’ “Lawyer of the Year” for 2012

J. Jonathan Schraub, managing shareholder of the D. C. Regional Office at the Sands Anderson PC law firm in McLean, has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America as "Washington, DC Best Lawyers Professional Malpractice Lawyer of the Year" for 2012.According to Best Lawyers' Director of Research Kristin Greer, "Lawyer of the Year honors are given to those with the highest averages - from our standard process of balloting - in a given practice area and metropolitan area...a ‘best of the best' recognition." This is the second year that Schraub has received the Lawyer of the Year designation. Last year his recognition was in the Legal Malpractice Law category.
"Jon Schraub has achieved widespread notice among his fellow lawyers as a skilled courtroom advocate for clients of the firm and this honor is a measure of the extent of that well-deserved reputation," said M. Pierce Rucker, president of the law firm.

Schraub earned his undergraduate degree at Colgate University and his law degree at the Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the Business & Professional Litigation group as well as the Healthcare and Employment groups. He focuses his practice in the areas of professional liability litigation, healthcare and employment defense at the trial and appellate levels in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
