J. Jonathan Schraub, managing shareholder of the D. C. Regional Office at the Sands Anderson PC law firm in McLean, has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America as "Washington, DC Best Lawyers Legal Malpractice Lawyer of the Year" for 2011.According to Best Lawyers' Director of Research Kristin Greer, "Lawyer of the Year honors are given to those with the highest averages - from our standard process of balloting - in a given practice area and metropolitan area...a ‘best of the best' recognition."

Schraub earned his undergraduate degree at Colgate University and his law degree at the Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the Business & Professional Litigation practice group as well as the Healthcare and Employment practice groups. He focuses his practice in the areas of professional liability litigation, healthcare and employment defense at the trial and appellate levels in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
