RICHMOND, VIRGINIA --- Annemarie DiNardo Cleary has joined the law firm of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller as counsel in the Business & Professional Litigation practice group, firm President M. Pierce Rucker announced today.
"Ms. Cleary has significant experience in banking law and business torts, including complex litigation, an area in which our clients are seeking counsel more often, and we are glad to have her join our team of attorneys with extensive courtroom experience," said practice group co-chair Jeffrey H. Geiger.
Cleary's practice is focused mainly on defense of businesses and their executives from legal actions and liability claims. She also has counseled business clients on employment and contract disputes, insurance coverage and defense, and real estate development loans and lease disputes. She is based in the firm's Richmond office.
Her previous legal experience includes work with Reed Smith, LLP, in the northern Virginia area, and law firms in the Tidewater market. She earned her J. D. at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law and her undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary.
