Margaret F. Hardy of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller Elected Chair of Women's Health Virginia

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA --Margaret F. Hardy, a shareholder and member of the Healthcare Practice Group with the law firm of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, has been elected Chair of Women's Health Virginia, a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the health and well being of women and girls in Virginia through community outreach, research and education.

Hardy has served on the Board of Directors of Women's Health Virginia since 2007.  Prior to attending law school, she worked as a registered nurse on medical surgical, ICU step-down, and psychiatry and substance abuse units.  As a registered nurse, Hardy  brings a unique perspective to the representation of health care providers.  She received her Nursing Diploma from Johnston-Willis Hospital School of Nursing, B.S. from University of Richmond, M.B.A. from Old Dominion University, and her J.D. from College of William & Mary.
