Stephen Marshall Joins Workers' Comp Team
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -- Stephen A. Marshall has joined the Workers' Compensation practice group at the Richmond office of the Sands Anderson Marks & Miller law firm, practice chair Cecil H. Creasey, Jr., announced."We are excited to have a lawyer with Stephen's skill and experience adding to the robust resources offered to employer and insurer clients by our statewide workers' compensation team," Creasey said.
Marshall focuses his practice on defense of workers' compensation claims and on workers' compensation issues. He also has experience in representing claimants. He was most recently with Kalbaugh, Pfund & Messersmith, P.C, in their litigation practice.
Marshall's litigation experience includes representation of clients in commercial and contract disputes, tort defense, products liability and insurance coverage litigation. He also has defended clients in employment disputes, creditor and debtor issues and professional malpractice claims, in addition to extensive representation in the workers' compensation area.
Marshall earned his B.A. at the College of William and Mary and his M. S. at Virginia Commonwealth University. He graduated cum laude with a J. D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Marshall has served as a Director of the Fairfax Bar Association Young Lawyers section.
