(April 8, 2005)... James E. Cornwell, Jr. a partner in the law firm Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, was named as City Attorney for the City of Galax.
Cornwell concentrates his practice in the areas economic planning and development, schools and education as well as zoning and land use issues.
In addition to providing daily advice to local governments, Cornwell is directly involved in litigation to promote and protect Virginia's local governments.
