(RICHMOND, VA.,April 14, 2006) C. Michael DeCamps and Henry C. Spalding III, attorneys with Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, P.C., led the 2006 Employment Law Hot Topics seminar entitled "What To Do When The EEOC Comes Calling" on April 13.

There were over 75,000 discrimination charges filed with the EEOC in fiscal year 2005. In this seminar, employers learned what to do when a charge of discrimination is received and the best steps to take to avoid having a claim become a multi-million dollar lawsuit. DeCamps and Spalding also reviewed the best practices and policies for responding to complaints from the EEOC.
