Tom Ebel Elected for a Third Term

(February 22, 2005) - The shareholders of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, P.C. have elected C. Thomas Ebel to serve a third term on the Board of Directors, where he will continue to serve as President of the law firm.

Under Mr. Ebel's administration, the firm has broadly expanded regional coverage by opening offices in Fredericksburg, McLean and the Research Triangle of North Carolina. The number of attorneys at the firm has grown by nearly 20% under the leadership of Ebel and his fellow Board members.

Benjamin W. Emerson, a current member of the Board commented, "Tom's leadership has served the firm well, benefiting us by his consistency in direction and focus on development." In 2001 and 2003, Ebel was listed in Virginia Business'  "Legal Elite." Ebel received his bachelor's degree from Hampden-Sydney College and his law degree from the University of Richmond.
