Sands Anderson President Ebel Elected to VBA Board of Governors

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (January 22, 2007)…C. Thomas Ebel, president of law firm Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, was elected to a three year term on the Virginia Bar Association Board of Governors at their winter meeting on Saturday, January 20.

Ebel, who just completed a term as Chairman of the Bankruptcy Section of the City of Richmond Bar Association, has been President of Sands Anderson since 2001. He has over 25 years of experience in the areas of real estate, business, corporate, bankruptcy and creditors' rights law.

Ebel represents corporations and other businesses in mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructurings and a variety of other corporate and business matters. He counsels law firm owners and management on the special issues that these privately-owned service businesses encounter. Tom also represents financial institutions, developers, investors and local governments in a wide variety of real estate and other commercial transactions, as well as landlords and tenants in commercial lease matters.
