Alex Rowedder started at Sands Anderson in 2015, bringing experience gained at a well-known aviation insurance defense law firm and lifelong exposure to the aviation industry. Alex grew up in Kennesaw, Georgia, where his passion for aviation often intersected with his father’s work with a leading aviation insurance company. From a young age, Alex attended aircraft accident investigations and wreckage inspections, providing him with a wealth of technical knowledge that now fuels his desire to identify key liability issues at an early stage.
As a collaborative ally, Alex, a member of the Aviation & Admiralty team, supports an array of case-preparation needs for multiple groups within the firm, with a focus on aviation, products liability, commercial transportation and premises liability. He is detail-driven, which allows him to analyze oftentimes complicated data in the context of the overarching liability issues unique to each case. With an aim of reaching an efficient, cost-effective resolution, Alex will work hard on your behalf to examine the facts under the applicable legal standards before helping to craft a framework for a strong defense.
Alex holds a private pilot certificate and has experience in aircraft ranging from a Piper J-3 Cub to Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza models. He plans to pursue his instrument and multi-engine ratings and looks forward to further developing his aviation skills. Outside of aviation, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and tennis, traveling and time on the water.
