Known for her approachability and strategic thinking, Jessica collaborates closely with local government clients to quickly address the legal issues that emerge as a routine part of governing. Whether public policy matters, administrative challenges, zoning regulations, or employment issues, Jessica empowers public entities and school boards to make informed decisions and effectively serve their communities.
Jessica enjoys helping her clients navigate the nuanced relationships between governing and meeting the needs of their constituents while also complying with various regulatory bodies. She is skilled in defending her clients in both state and federal court. Her litigation experience, which was honed during her tenure as an Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia and as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Norfolk, includes handling myriad cases in front of judges and juries as well as achieving the desired results through mediation.
Formerly a ballerina, Jessica is passionate about the arts and enjoys attending ballets and concerts. When not working, she channels her energy into her family and attending her children's sports events, enthusiastically cheering them on from the sidelines.
