The firm's Diversity Committee meets regularly to review the progress of our efforts to expand workplace diversity. The committee seeks input from both within and without the firm in an effort to continually refine the firm's strategies in the recruitment and retention of diverse employees.

We have participated in diversity events, such as the Virginia Bar Association's Diversity Job Fair, the Mid-Atlantic Black Law Students Association Job Fair, and the Richmond Legal Diversity Alliance (of which Sands Anderson is a founding member). Sands Anderson has hired highly-qualified and diverse law students we have met at these job fairs and events, as well as through on-campus recruiting at law schools in the region.
