W. Ashley Burgess Named by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as a “Leader in the Law”

RICHMOND, Va. (September 10, 2026) — Sands Anderson PC is pleased to announce that W. Ashley Burgess has been named a member of the Virginia Lawyers Weekly “Leader in the Law” Class of 2026. Burgess will be recognized along with fellow honorees at a networking reception on October 29, 2026 at Independence Golf Club in Richmond.

Burgess is a business attorney who serves clients from the firm's Richmond and Fredericksburg offices and is a member of Sands Anderson's Board of Directors. He advises businesses, owners, and executives on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including business formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and strategic business planning. He regularly serves as outside counsel to companies across a variety of industries, helping clients navigate complex legal issues, manage risk, and support long-term growth.
