RICHMOND, Va. (January 24, 2022) — Sands Anderson PC confirmed its 2022 leadership with the unanimous re-election of Margaret F. Hardy to serve on the firm’s Board of Directors. Hardy was then re-elected to serve as President of the firm.
This will be Hardy’s third, three-year term on the Board. She currently serves alongside shareholders Brian R. Pitney and Jeffrey H. Geiger.
Hardy thanked the shareholders for their ongoing trust and support. She stated, “It is an exciting time to be a part of Sands Anderson. We are stronger than ever. I am eager to continue building our firm, attracting excellent lawyers, and providing the highest level of service to our clients.”
Hardy joined the Board in 2016 and was elected the firm’s first female president in 2017. She continues her leadership roles as the managing shareholder of the firm’s Fredericksburg office and as the Healthcare Group Leader. She is also the Immediate Past President for the Virginia Women Attorneys’ Association.
Hardy is among Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s Class of 2020 Influential Women of Law, has been consistently included in Virginia Business magazine’s “Legal Elite” for health law, as well as listed in Super Lawyers® for medical malpractice defense. Along with her law degree, Hardy earned an MBA and holds a nursing license.
