As an associate in Sands Anderson’s litigation practice group, Hailey applies a disciplined, solutions-focused approach to every matter. She thrives in fast-paced settings and brings focus and determination to her work. Clients value her ability to distill intricate legal concepts into clear, actionable strategies. Whether crafting written briefs or arguing before the court, she focuses on helping clients move forward with confidence.

Prior to joining Sands Anderson, Hailey served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stephen R. McCullough of the Supreme Court of Virginia, where she worked on matters involving sovereign immunity, property disputes, professional licensing, and business litigation. During law school, she was named Champion and Best Oralist at the Richmond regional National Moot Court Competition.

Outside the office, Hailey is a classically trained ballet dancer with a strong appreciation for the arts, including theater and opera. She also enjoys exploring local restaurants and spending time with her husband and their cocker spaniel, Rory.
