William J. Homer IV
Will Homer helps healthcare, business, and construction clients navigate complex legal challenges that can affect day-to-day operations, major projects, and long-term planning.
His practice focuses on advising healthcare organizations on compliance, transactions, reimbursement, government investigations, and related disputes. He regularly works with healthcare clients to assess exposure, respond to inquiries, and make informed decisions at critical moments.
Will also advises developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on construction matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, project disputes, and construction defect claims.
Drawing on experience across litigation, investigations, and transactional work, Will anticipates how legal issues evolve from initial agreements through potential disputes. This allows him to provide practical counsel on risk and address the complete legal needs of clients facing interconnected challenges.
Earlier in his career, Will served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, where he handled criminal and civil matters involving financial investigations and asset forfeiture and led prosecutions of federal cases involving fraud, money laundering, and narcotics offenses.
Will previously served as an officer in the United States Air Force. He was deployed multiple times in support of combat operations and was awarded two Air Medals for meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.
Outside of the office, Will enjoys fishing, building LEGOs with his kids, wine tasting, and playing golf.
