Sands Anderson Welcomes Tax Attorney Mel E. Myers

RICHMOND, Va. (June 25, 2026) – Sands Anderson PC today announced Mel E. Myers has joined the Tax Team in the firm’s Business Group.

Myers advises businesses and developers on the tax aspects of complex transactions, including structuring and due diligence, real estate finance, tax credits, opportunity zones, tax-exempt bonds, and executive compensation. He helps clients address tax considerations early and develop strategies that minimize tax liability while supporting overall deal objectives.

Prior to joining Sands Anderson, Myers served as in-house corporate counsel, where he worked with business teams on transactional and tax-related matters.
