Sands Anderson’s Business Group Adds Alex Ashrafi

RICHMOND, Va. (May 13, 2026) – Sands Anderson PC today announced Alex P. Ashrafi has joined the firm's Business Group as an associate. Ashrafi advises entrepreneurs and growing companies on corporate and transactional matters related to entity formation, capital raises, investor transactions, and key business transitions.

Ashrafi, who will be based in the firm’s Richmond office, has experience with mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing transactions, securities offerings, and real estate transactions connected to broader corporate deals. He has structured and supported asset and equity sales, securities offerings under Regulation A and Regulation D, and investment fund formations, and he counsels clients through reorganizations and other strategic changes. His work spans renewable energy, technology and software, private equity, real estate investment, construction, and agriculture.
