Faith A. Alejandro and Sarah A. Bucovetsky have earned promotions to Counsel status at the law firm of Sands Anderson PC, firm president L. Lee Byrd has announced.
“Both of these attorneys have been excellent associates and have developed significant experience in their respective litigation practices. Our clients are extremely pleased with their skills and advice, and we are delighted to promote them to Counsel,” Byrd said.
Alejandro’s litigation practice focuses on representing businesses and individuals on issues related to commercial matters, employment law, and lawyer professional liability issues, along with representing non-profit organizations and governmental entities. Alejandro received her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law graduating magna cum laude and served as Executive Editor of the University of Richmond Law Review. Alejandro received her B.A. from the University of Virginia and is a recipient of the Richard Heath Dabney Award.
Alejandro was named to the Lawyers of Color’s 2014 Hot List and is listed among Virginia Business magazine’s 2015 Legal Elite, Young Lawyers. Alejandro is a member of the Richmond Symphony Chorus. She practices in the firm’s Richmond office and can be reached at falejandro@sandsanderson.com.
Bucovetsky focuses her practice on complex civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on legal malpractice defense, as well as insurance coverage. Bucovetsky received her law degree from the George Washington University School of Law where she earned Pro Bono Honors and served on the Mock Trial Board. She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. with Distinction in Political Science.
