Expands firm’s tax and international business practices
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA — Gregory P. Bergethon, Esq., CPA has joined the law firm of Sands Anderson PC, announced firm president, L. Lee Byrd.

Bergethon serves regional, national and international clients structuring and implementing various mergers, acquisitions, tax plans and regulated offerings. Bergethon enhances the firm’s business tax group with his extensive experience in partnership and corporate tax, designing and assisting organizations and individuals in implementing tax-advantaged strategies.
Bergethon has developed innovative solutions for various domestic and international organizations in industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, telecom and communications, entertainment, and real estate, including all forms of nonprofits. Bergethon is a member of the firm’s Business Group.
Bergethon is an adjunct professor at Regent University School of Law and regularly serves as a guest lecturer for various groups, such as National Business Institute. He is involved in community organizations at the executive level including Stop Abuse, WorldChangers and Pinnacle Forum.
Bergethon earned his bachelor of science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond graduating cum laude in 1993, and his law degree from the William & Mary School of Law in 2000. Prior to the practice of law, he was a senior accountant in charge auditor and consultant with KPMG.
