RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA — Timothy A. Nordgren has joined the Raleigh office of Sands Anderson PC bringing with him an attractive estate planning law practice, announced firm president L. Lee Byrd.

Nordgren focuses his practice on estate and trust administration. He holds a board certification as a specialist in estate planning & probate law. He assists clients with the creation of estate plans, Special Needs Trust, and charitable organizations with obtaining tax exempt status. Nordgren is a member of the firm’s Business Group.
Nordgren most recently was a partner at McPerhson, Rocamora, Nicholson & Nordgren, PLLC. He regularly presents and publishes articles on estate planning matters for the North Caroline Bar Association (NCBA). He is a member of the NCBA Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section and has served on the Legislative Committee since 2015. His also a frequent participant of the NCBA Call 4All Program.
Earlier in 2016, Nordgren became a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. In 2013, he received the Certificate of Achievement for Superior Commitment to Pro Bono Services from the North Carolina Bar Association and Legal Aid of North Carolina. His peers have rated him AV, the highest rating one can receive from Martindale-Hubbell.
