RICHMOND, VIRGINIA — Matthew D. Green has joined the Richmond office of Sands Anderson PC bringing with him an attractive civil litigation practice, announced firm president L. Lee Byrd.

Green focuses his practice on commercial litigation, professional liability, products liability, and insurance coverage. In addition to his extensive jury trial experience, he has successfully represented clients in various forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Green is rated ‘AV® Preeminent’ in Martindale-Hubbell, has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America since 2012 and also in Benchmark Litigation’s Guide to America’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys since 2008. He has been recognized by Virginia Super Lawyers® since 2007. He is a past recipient of the E. Randolph Williams Award for outstanding pro bono service.
Green was most recently at Morris & Morris. Prior to law school, he was a Small Business Advisor in the United States Peace Corps stationed in Honduras.
