RICHMOND, Va. (January 3, 2024) – Two attorneys have been elected shareholders of Sands Anderson PC, according to firm president Margaret F. Hardy. The new shareholders are Nicole S. Cheuk and Bobby N. Turnage, Jr. Both Cheuk and Turnage are based in Sands Anderson’s Richmond office.

Nikki Cheuk offers comprehensive guidance to public school boards in all areas of representation, including special education, student discipline, Title IX, personnel issues, policy, and procurement. Her experience working with a wide variety of school boards enables her to help guide education clients efficiently through a myriad of ever-varying issues. In addition, Cheuk also works with local governments on personnel matters. Cheuk received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary and her law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law.
Bobby Turnage leads Sands Anderson’s Cybersecurity and Technology Team and advises organizations dealing with technology and data-related matters including cybersecurity, data security, data privacy, intellectual property, and technology contracts. He draws on experience gained both in private practice and as a tech company executive to offer his clients a comprehensive approach to effectively addressing their legal needs. Turnage obtained his undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional/US.
