Michael T. Marr will present “Competence, Communication & Conflicts” with Minnesota Lawyers Mutual concerning the avoidance of malpractice and ethics complaints to a local legal group in Leesburg, VA.
September 18, 2015
Roy M. Terry, Jr. will moderate the Judges’ Panel discussing a variety of commercial and consumer bankruptcy topics for the 30th Annual Mid-Atlantic Institute on Bankruptcy and Reorganization Practice in Charlottesville, VA. Six of the U. S. Bankruptcy Court Judges who sit in Virginia will participate on the panel.

Ruth T. Griggs will present, “Data Security Breaches ‘Who Ya Gonna Call?” which will discuss breach notification responsibilities under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and two Virginia statutes, as well as other issues associated with breach notification. Ruth’s presentation is a part of the Professional Development Conference hosted by the Virginia State Bar Young Lawyers in Richmond, VA.
