Coastal Virginia Magazine Recognizes Five Sands Anderson Attorneys as Top Lawyers

RICHMOND, Va. (January 8, 2024) – Five Sands Anderson PC lawyers in the firm’s Williamsburg office are listed among Coastal Virginia Magazine’s 2024 Top Lawyers, firm president Margaret F. Hardy reported.

The 2024 Top Lawyers includes the following Sands Anderson attorneys:

Courtney H. Cox joined Sands Anderson in 2023 and provides comprehensive legal guidance to clients on estate planning, trust and estate disputes, and general business matters. Courtney is both a counselor and litigator, and her significant litigation experience extends beyond estate litigation and includes representing businesses in contract disputes, claims of fraud, and other general civil litigation matters.

Robyn H. Hansen joined the firm in 2020, bringing decades of experience counseling employers across a range of industries with respect to a broad spectrum of legal obligations. She guides employers in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that create and maintain a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with relevant laws.

Jamie Heisler Ibrahim joined the firm in 2023 and represents primary and secondary schools throughout Virginia in special education, Title IX, and other education matters. She relies on decades of combined experience as an education attorney, university administrator, university academic advisor, and corporate defense litigator to serve the complex needs of her public school division clients.

Nathan C. Mortier joined the firm in 2021 with more than 10 years of experience in healthcare law. Brian G. Muse joined Sands Anderson in 2016 and serves clients in the Hampton Roads and Richmond markets. His practice is focused on helping clients navigate labor and employment law and litigation. He supports an array of client needs including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. In addition, Brian has experience representing clients in labor matters, including unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB and Union grievances.
